Brentford FC – FIFA Women’s Champions Cup Semi-Finals
When Brentford FC was selected to host the semi-final stage of the inaugural FIFA Women’s Champions Cup this January, Qdos Event Hire was appointed by Brentford and Arup to deliver high-quality temporary changing room facilities for players, coaches and team officials.

The tournament marked a brand-new global competition to crown the first-ever intercontinental women’s club champions, with two semi-final fixtures taking place on Wednesday 28th January – New York Gotham v Corinthians and AS FAR v Arsenal.
Our bespoke solution centred around the installation of CTX modular buildings, providing professional changing room environments through a combination of open-plan units alongside dedicated toilet and shower facilities.
With the client seeking a single-order solution, our team also procured and installed a comprehensive range of supporting infrastructure and internal fit-out items, including:
- Hard PVC walling for screening and branding
- Heras fencing
- Benches for the changing rooms, including integrated shoe racks
- Treatment tables
- Internal and external floor coverings
- Lockers
- Miscellaneous furniture and ancillary equipment
Alongside managing the installation of all modular buildings and equipment, our engineers carried out all plumbing requirements, including a fresh water supply and waste provision for the duration of the hire. A standby engineer also remained on site throughout the event to provide technical support and ensure everything went smoothly.
The project wasn’t without its challenges given the location where the units needed to be sited. Within the outdoor broadcast area within the stadium, there were some logistical hurdles to overcome with bollards and low level lighting fixtures factored in.
Delivered within a tight installation window, the project enabled Brentford FC to successfully host an international competition environment with the addition of welfare and performance facilities for the footballers, support teams and officials.
