Farnborough International Airshow
Qdos Event Hire has been an official supplier to Farnborough International Airshow since our inception in 2010, providing temporary accommodation, welfare and toilet facilities for one of the world’s leading aerospace events.
For the 2026 edition, we supplied 100+ units that were positioned across the extensive event site and utilised by operations, exhibitors, visitors, security personnel and suppliers.
The installation included cabins, modular buildings and toilet facilities in a variety of sizes and configurations. These ranged from split and linked units to double-stacked structures complete with staircases and terraces.
We created several large, versatile modular spaces using our CTX system, providing in excess of 3,840 sq. ft. of high-quality temporary accommodation for the Air Display Headquarters, Pilots’ Briefing Facility, Pass Collection Office and Staff Welfare.
Another standout installation was the Cupola. This incorporated a fully glazed upper-level CTX unit, lower-level offices, an external terrace, handrails and a connecting staircase.
At the other end of the scale, the smallest unit supplied was an 8’ x 8’ guard house, demonstrating the breadth and flexibility of our fleet and our ability to meet a wide variety of requirements across the site.
We also gave a new lease of life to a former 24’ x 9’ jackleg toilet unit. Following a complete refurbishment, it returned to Farnborough as an open-plan cabin with a kitchenette and was put to good use by the security team throughout the event.
From compact guard houses to complex multi-bay modular buildings, the project demonstrated our ability to provide a comprehensive single-supplier solution.
