Qdos Event Hire provided temporary accommodation and welfare solutions to Royal Ascot, one of the most prestigious horse racing fixtures in the UK and a highlight in the social calendar.
Held at Ascot Racecourse in June, the event welcomed 280,000 racegoers across five days of top-tier racing and hospitality. Working closely with the site team, we delivered a tailored package of cabins and toilets to meet the needs of event staff, organisers and contractors.
In total, over 30 units were installed across the site, including a mix of open-plan, 50/50 split and anti-vandal cabins, ranging in size from 10’ to 32’. These were used as offices, dressing rooms, changing facilities, ticketing booths, cloakrooms and security check-in areas. Locations included key zones such as behind the stage, near the Village Enclosure, site compound areas and along the Queen Anne and Windsor Enclosures. Our solution also included welfare facilities, such as mixed jackleg toilets and accessible units.
To support smooth operations across the week, our team remained on standby throughout the build, live days and breakdown, delivering maintenance and logistical support wherever required.
Royal Ascot continues to set the standard for summer events in the UK, and we’re proud to have added the event to our annual calendar and being a part of its operational success in 2025.
