When DJ and producer Hannah Laing brought a festival to her home city of Dundee this July, Qdos Event Hire was on hand to support with event accommodation and welfare facilities. Doof in the Park was a debut one-day event held at Camperdown Park in Dundee that sold out all 15,000 tickets within a week of going on sale.
We supplied in excess of 230 cabins, toilets and storage containers to the event for use by the production team, artists and the general public.
These included 16’ 20’ and 24’ cabins that were utilised as site offices, production offices, ticket offices and artist dressing rooms. Along with toilet trailers, plastic toilets, pee pods and handwash units complete with all their sanitation requirements.
In addition, during the show day itself we provided a standby team to ensure that all technical, cleaning and maintenance was carried out.
Hannah did a fantastic job of delivering the event and was a joy to work for, she actually walked around the site and thanked our team for their careful placement of toilets that avoided causing any damage to the grass. We’re looking forward to watching the event grow and hope to be a part of it again in 2026 and beyond.
