Qdos Location Facilities has grown into a leading of supplier of temporary accommodation and welfare facilities to the UK’s film & TV industry. Its work for a major streaming service with multiple studios and locations has undoubtedly added to the team’s experience and allowed it to cement its role in the sector.
Initially installing several of its cabins and jackleg toilets, including double stacked 24’ and 32’ cabins, into an established studio location to provide welfare and office space for prop & set build.
Qdos was then asked to help support with temporary facilities at number of filming locations, where it utilised a its fleet of mobile units.
As the production prepared for studio based filming, in a new studio location Qdos was there to deliver a further 20 double stacked cabins and toilets, supporting all elements of the production team.
This was followed by a purpose built 8-bay modular building which was constructed inside the studio. As the requirement for space grew, Qdos was able to add a further 8 bays and double stack these to create the necessary space.
This is an excellent example of how flexible all Qdos’ products are and how the team can work with its clients to deliver the solutions that they need.
The Qdos team went on to install cabins for three additional sites supporting location filming and set building.
