Qdos Indian Summer with the ECB
Qdos Event Hire provided four of their spacious 24ft, open plan offices and a 3+2 luxury fresh water trailer to the ECB, for India’s tour of England in the summer of 2014. The tour encompassed five Investec Test Matches, a five match Royal London One-Day Series and a solitary NatWest T20 International.
Matches were held throughout July and August at Trent Bridge, Lord’s Cricket Ground, the Ageas Bowl, Emirates Old Trafford, Edgbaston, Bristol County Ground, Headingley, SWALEC Stadium and the Kia Oval. Throughout that period Qdos was on hand to deliver an essential service to the ECB following the international schedule from venue to venue.
Despite being appointed to work with the ECB very late we were able to swiftly plan for the tour, allocating equipment and resources to ensure we fulfilled the contract.
Qdos deployed two identical sets of cabins as some dates overlapped. To assist us in delivering transport cost efficiencies for our client, we moved cabins from venue to venue, where matches piggy backed on to each other. The four offices provided at each venue were supplied in different configurations including a double stacked configuration when there were space constraints. Deliveries were made at various times, including late evenings and early mornings to fit in with the individual venue schedules and to help keep disruption to a minimum.
