When BBC Countryfile Live was held at Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire, for the first time, this August, Qdos Event Hire was delighted to support organiser SME London by providing temporary accommodation from their extensive product range.

Arriving onsite from the 20th July onwards, Qdos supplied high quality cabins for a variety of purposes across the venue. This included offices for the production village for use by the site and production management teams, Health & Safety personnel, accounts and first aid. In addition, units were used as ticket booths at the entrance areas. With further cabins in use as sentry boxes by the security and car parking contractors. The units supplied ranged from 8ft x 8ft to 24ft x 9ft in size, with thirty supplied in total.

One of Qdos’ most experienced project managers was on-hand throughout the build, duration and breakdown of the event to ensure that everything ran smoothly.

BBC Countryfile Live proved to be hugely successful modern take on traditional country shows that showcased the popular TV show in a live environment.  It featured livestock, crafts, music, shopping, outdoor pursuits and off-road driving. Along with Countryfile presenters John Craven, Anita Rani and Adam Henson, there were special guests such as survivalist Ray Mears, chef Rick Stein and the author Will Self.
