The European Tour’s BMW PGA Championship returned to Wentworth from 25th – 28th May with a new first tee experience and music from Status Quo and the Kaiser Chiefs. Qdos Event Hire was on-hand throughout to provide temporary accommodation and welfare facilities for organisers, players and spectators alike.

With an event build that began with the delivery of six cabins for use as site, Health & Safety and admin offices, eight steel stores and a variety of jackleg and plastic toilets, at the tail end of March, this was a large project for the Qdos team.

Additional cabins, storage containers and toilets were delivered to the site throughout April and May so that when the tournament began on Thursday 25th there were more than 100 units onsite.

The cabins supplied were for a multitude of uses including: offices for IT, security and medical staff; a referees’ lounge; areas for the scoreboard operators and stores for water, buggy hire and the park and ride.

Qdos also provide an anti-doping facility, this specialist cabin comes complete with a built-in toilet for use by officials.

The cabins were supplied in a wide range of sizes; 12’, 20’, 24’, 32’ and 40’ with a variety of configurations including open plan, large windows, 50/50, 60/40, 70/30, 40/30/30 and 70/20/10 splits.

Toilet facilities were provided across the 18-hole course at Wentworth, with a combination of plastic and jackleg male, female and disabled units in use throughout the build-up of the event and tournament itself. These were fully serviced and maintained by Qdos’ in-house team.
