QdosEvent Hire is delighted to have been a key contractor to V Festival, Chelmsford since our inception in 2010. The annual music festival is held each year during the penultimate weekend in August and is attended by more than 150,000 people.
We supplied 154 of our smart, modern and highly presentable cabins direct to MaztecLtd and Nine Yards Production Ltd for the 2014 event. These were for a variety of uses includinga production compound for organisers, sponsors and contractors; box offices; information points for festival goers; artist reception areas; mobile police stations and police operational planning & custody areas; dressing rooms and artist liaison areas; media centres; pyro stores; left luggage and merchandising.
In addition some of our new units were used by V Festival’s sponsors including Carling Local, Mahikiand V Style.
Cabins began arriving onsite from Monday August 4thand were all installed and operational Tuesday 12th, just 8 days later. One of our most experienced members of staff is the project manager for this event and is onsite for the duration of the project. They are also the onsite engineer and client liaison throughout the show days. We bring in two high ab cranes with highly experienced and qualified operators to ensure that all cabins and sited efficiently and safely. Once the festival is over all cabins are removed and cleared from site within four days.
