Qdos Event Hire was delighted to support the PDC World Darts Championship for the fourth successive year. The hugely popular sporting event was held from 17th December 2015 to 3rd January at London’s Alexandra Palace.
Organiser Sports Event Services asked Qdos to provide a range of temporary accommodation and WC facilities for the duration of the event including:
32ft open plan offices
32ft 50/50 split cabins
3+2 luxury vacuum toilet trailers
4+2 luxury vacuum toilet trailers
20 man waterless urinals
18ft mobile office
As the event grew in capacity this time round the number of units required increased, indeed once the tournament began they were asked to supply additional units. The Qdos team was on-hand throughout to service and maintain all equipment.
The event boasts the largest stage and widest set of the professional darts game which is installed in Alexandra Palace’s West Hall. In the Great Hall there is a technical and media village for outside broadcast, production offices, dressing rooms for officials and media and press facilities. A purpose built fans village includes William Hill Bookmakers, bars and a variety of food outlets.
